Who we are

With traditions since 1942, with the construction of the Pousada de Santa Luzia in Elvas, Enatur was created as a Public Company in 1976 and as a Public Limited Company in 1992, with the main objective of developing and operating activities in the tourist sector.

It is the only entity that legally has the use of the “Pousada” brand as a hotel establishment.

Enatur is currently engaged in granting concessions to the private sector and supervising the operation of hotel establishments in the Pousadas de Portugal Network, as defined in the applicable legislation.
